April Treasurers Report

In order to give MaryJo more time to absorb the position of Treasurer, I’m giving one last final report.

The 7th tradition contribution for this month totaled $4844.51.  The April bank balance is $ 120,613.39. The net income totaled $5,159.32 which is always good to have rather than a negative.   The total net income for this year is also in the black.  Click here to see the whole report.

Let me add here that is has been an honor and a privilege to serve our ACA WSO.  I am very grateful for the opportunity and for all that I have learned.  Thank you to those who have made this possible for me, especially Scott R.

The report this month is slightly different.

Special thanks to Scott R for assisting me in putting this together and up on the web site.

The orders keep rolling in and the staff are keeping up with them so I also send the office a big thank you for their work.

November 2012 Treasurers Report

Treasurers Report:

It has been a busy month with treasury work.  Scott and I went to Signal Hill to talk with the staff, as you may know, and also with our book keeper, Patricia Wilshire. We were able to find out about the hours staff is working and DiAnne has made arrangements to cut back work hours.  Scott has raised the handling fee from 50 cents to $2.00.  Usually twice a month I ok the payroll for Patricia to send it out and I also take the time to transfer funds from PayPal.  I’d like to add that Larry is keeping track of the amount of e-books that have been purchased.  Be sure to check the financial report to see how well we are doing will sales of the e-books.  It takes two months for the money to be transferred from Amazon or B & N to our checking account.  I’m also working to get a form filled out so that we pay workman’s comp every month rather than waiting until we have a lump sum of arrears that happened last month and cost us over $9000.

October Treasurers Report 2012

Treasurers Report for October 2012

Once again, we’ve had another negative cash flow month.  The state of California underestimated our payroll so required a payment of $9,838 for Workman Compensation Insurance.  Frankly, looking at the statistics for the past year of income and expenses, we are presently $22,400.20 negative in regards to the entire year.  The stats are in the insert (click here).  However, our checking account does have $39,033.22 in it so we are able to cover our expenses at the present time, with prayers of gratitude, I might add.  We are purchasing the printing of our yellow workbook so there will be more to sell which of course means more income.  The e-reader profit is finally beginning to drop into our checking account which makes me more grateful.  Larry has the stats on those sales even if the money will take awhile to get into our bank account.  I believe there is a one month lag in deposits for the e-readers.
