April 2015 Treasurer's Report

Volunteers are always welcome to join the Finance Committee. We meet every other Tuesday at 1:15 pm CST via Skype.  If you are interested, please contact me by selecting the ACA WSO Treasurer from the dropdown menu on the Contact tab on this website.

The Balance Sheet shows that not much changed - just a little more movement into the Inventory Purchase Reserve as the office is placing orders for Workbooks, Soft Cover Meditation Books and Newcomer's Pamphlets.

2015 ABC Treasurer's Report

As I finish my first two-year term as WSO Treasurer, I remain grateful for the opportunity to use the skills I have gathered through the years in this role. I am also very grateful for the help and support of Board Trustee, Martin C. Together we make up the ‘fantastic’ Finance Committee, which meets via Skype every other Tuesday. I also want to acknowledge Allen C., who was part of our Committee until mid-year 2014.

I am presenting both the Balance Sheet and the Profit and Loss (P&L) Statement that cover fiscal year 2014. These documents include a comparison to year-end 2013. 1Q 2015 Balance Sheet and 1Q 2015 P&L figures are also part of this report. Additionally, at the end of this report is a list of all 7th Tradition Contributions for 2014 and 1Q 2015.

February 2015 Treasurer's Report

Volunteers Wanted:  If you have a background in Finance and/or Accounting, the Finance Committee is looking for you to join us.  Please email Mary Jo at  if you're interested.

February's financials show that there was a net income for February of $3,254.  The details are in the Profit and Loss Statement.  This is down considerably from last month for several reasons, many of which are normal fluctuations.

Of note in the Administrative portion of the P&L, which we call the WSO Cost Center, are that 7th Tradition contributions were lower by about $3,000 from last month, and we showed no income from Amazon ebook sales, which should show up in March. Expenses in this section are rising as we spend more money on Literature Development and outreach projects.

March 2015 Treasurer's Report

The financial information for March is included in the Balance Sheet and the Profit & Loss Statement. The Net Income from March is $11,433.

There have been additional expenses since the launch of the website, including normal fixes and some things that were unexpected.  This is fairly common for new websites, especially those of this magnitude.

January 2015 Treasurer's Report

January was a good month financially for the Fellowship.  The Profit and Loss Statement shows a Net Income of just over $20,000.  This seems to partially compensate for much lower December sales than expected.  Part of that increased income was also due to a larger total for 7th Tradition Contributions.  Thank you to all groups who are able to contribute according to the 7th Tradition guidelines, as well as to those individual ACAs who make contributions.  All contributions are listed in the document section under Treasurer's Report entitled Donations Received.
