Modifications to subsequent printings of the Laundry List Workbook

In between printings of Laundry List Workbooks, some small changes were made to the Laundry List Workbooks.

It has been brought to our attention that some groups noticed the differences between the printings of the Laundry List Workbooks.  We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

Please rest assured that all the same content is in all of the books, save for the one sentence which was inadvertenently dropped in the first printing.  The changes are here.

In point of fact, we added a second copy of the same schematic that appears in the opening pages of the book to the appendices to make it easier for the reader to refer to it as they read the essay that accompanies it in the appendices.  Similarly, we combined into one appendix the accompanying essay that had originally been split into two separate appendices.  The rest of the modifications are typographical in nature including a missing sentence in the essay, "Essentially recovery is a matter of turning that around and just saying "No!"

Because we added a half title page, a second copy of the schematic to the appendix and combined the essay that accompanies it into one, the pagination and the Table of Contents had to be changed as well.

Publishers only change the "edition" of a book once a substantive change is made to the content. When a book is published, certain changes are spotted and modifications are made without labeling it a "Second Edition".  The modifications we made between printings did not change any of the content of the book and were not substantive.

One can tell the which printing of the book they are using by reading the numbers on the Copyright Page.  The first number in the series signifies the printing and the last number signifies the year of the printing.

For example, "1  2  3  4  5  19  18  17 16  15" signifies the first printing in 2015.   The numbers "2  3  4  5  19  18  17 16  15" signifies the second printing also in 2015.

It will also hopefully attract newcomers to the meetings where they can buy literature inexpensively, and possibly be inspired to stay for a meeting.
