Proposal Deadline: November 15, 2014
Note: There are no online forms within this website this year. The submission form for the 2015 ABC Proposals has been created outside of our website this year because we hope to be moving to our new website in the middle of the proposal process and don't want to risk losing any data.
Please share this information with your meeting:
Dear ACA Group,
Each year the ACA World Service Organization holds our Annual Business Conference (ABC) the last weekend of April. As part of this process, Meetings and Intergroups around the world are asked if they would like to submit proposals for consideration. If your group has a proposal that you would like the Fellowship to consider, the process is as follows:

Seeking a 2015 ABC Host Committee
The ACA WSO Annual Business Conference (ABC) is held annually to help bring unity and consistency to ACA. This meeting provides the opportunity for World Service to respond to requests presented from the Fellowship through the Proposal/Ballot process. Decisions are made at this meeting that impact general policy and financial matters for the entire ACA World Service Organization.
The Fellowship does not yet have a location for the 2015 ABC, which will be held the weekend of April 25-27, 2015. We are asking ACA groups and Intergroups to consider acting as hosts for this event.
The Host Committee will have total support from the WSO.

Social Media Report Written and Submitted by Martin C., Trustee
After discussion at 2013 ABC, and in the year before ABC 2014, the Social Media Working Party agreed, and proposed to the WSO Board of Trustees, that there be an amendment to the wording of Tradition 11. This is to further protect the principle of anonymity in respect of Soclai Media (facebook, twitter etc)
We proposed that the words
“and all public media of communication”
be added after the reference to ,
“ Press, Radio, TV, and Films”,
in respect of the preservation of the principle of anonymity.
